HMN is an acronym for Home Means Nature, which is directly inspired by Nevada's state anthem Home Means Nevada. We are a Nevada proud outdoor lifestyle brand that acknowledges those individuals who are hooked on fishing, live for the hunt, long for adventure, and love living in Nevada. We are a company that has chosen accessories, gear, and apparel as our platform for expression, drawing inspiration from the local wildlife, spectacular views, and experiences that we encounter in our everyday lives as Nevadans. The HMN Outdoors mountain logo was inspired by the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains and the local area of Carson Valley.

Who Are We?

HMN Outdoors celebrates Nevada pride and a shared love for the outdoors.

HMN Outdoors is co-owned and run by friends Earl Silva and Travis Kincheloe. Earl has been a graphic designer for over 15 years, freelancing and designing for other companies. Inspired by the proud local culture here in Carson Valley Nevada and a love of the outdoors, the idea for HMN Outdoors was born. After sharing the idea of HMN Outdoors with friend Travis, they quickly decided to team up and develop the brand together. Both Earl and Travis share a passion for the outdoors and pride for their local community.
